The Octave4Plus™ strings sets are all handmade to order. They are available in scale lengths up to 43".

As we develop more sets, they will become available on the order page.

 

Strings are available in Stainless Steel or Nickel Plated Steel, or a combination of both.

Each gauge can be made very flexible, flexible, less flexible, non flexible etc.

 

Be sure to indicate what you want in the string specification form text box.

 

The gauges listed below are default gauges, For example if you prefer a .030 for your C3 string instead of the default .034

Skeleton Core  ( per string)                $ 3.00     These strings are made with the Octave4Plus™ bass ball ends (patent pending ). The core is not twisted around the ball end to attach it to the string, allowing for a thicker core and eliminating the 5/8" twist next to the ball end. Custom String Development and Testing Before purchasing one of these options, you will need to purchase the appropriate string or string set .
A) For 1 string              $25.00 B) For 1-3 strings         $75.00 C) For  1 string set       $100.00 D) For 1 string set        $150.00 The above Custom String Development options are only for developing custom strings and do not include the price of the strings. So, what this does not pay for is the actual string set. Once we get the test set right, then you must send it back and we will make a new custom set. Custom Dual Bass Ball Ends
Custom dual bass ball end (standard sized bass ball end) $4.00 per string. As an example, you would order a 4-string bass string set 1 and then select 4 custom dual ball ends to be added to these strings at a cost of $4.00 each for a total of $16.00 . On your Custom Roundwound String Set Design Specification Form you would provide us with some measurements. For a 6-string set with a second set of bass ball ends to be added on the tuner end of the strings, order the 6-string set and then order: Custom dual ball ends for a total of $24.00   When you order, we will ask you to provide us with some specific measurements. You can include these measurements on the String Set Design Specifications Form. Contact us if you have any questions. Even if you have given us your custom string specifications in an email, the strings will not be made unless all of the order specifications are on this form. This includes custom gauges and the intended tuning of the string or string set.
